Standard Vendor Slot

Vendor Fee: GHS 7,000

1. Vendor Scope & Participation
  • Vendors are permitted to sell food, drinks, or related items strictly to the public and spectators.
  • Vendors are not part of the official cookathon attempt.
  • Vendors must not assist the record holder in any form.
  • Vendors must not prepare or supply food for the cookathon attempt.
  • Vendors must not enter the designated Guinness World Record cooking area.
2. Designated Area & Branding
  • Vendors must operate only within their assigned vendor zone. Access to restricted or official cooking areas is strictly prohibited.
  • Vendors may not use the cookathon name, logo, or Guinness World Records branding without written approval and must not present themselves as official partners unless formally confirmed.
3. Health, Power & Venue Maintenance
  • Vendors are responsible for maintaining proper hygiene, food safety standards, and compliance with all applicable health regulations.
  • Power will be provided by the event organizers for vendor use. Vendors must use power responsibly and only for approved equipment.
  • Overloading of power sources or use of unsafe electrical appliances is strictly prohibited. Event organizers reserve the right to disconnect any vendor posing an electrical or safety risk.
  • Vendors must keep their assigned area clean at all times and dispose of waste properly. Any damage caused to the venue, facilities, or surroundings will be the vendor's responsibility.
4. Fire Safety
  • The use of gas cylinders, stoves, charcoal, or any open fire is strictly prohibited on the Astro turf area.
  • All cooking involving open flames or gas equipment must be done outside the Astro turf, in designated and approved areas only.
  • Gas cylinders, stoves, and electrical appliances must be in good working condition.
  • Vendors using open flames or gas must have basic fire-safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, available at their stands.
  • Event organizers reserve the right to immediately stop any vendor operation deemed unsafe or a fire risk.
5. Operations & Liability
  • Vendors must arrive and set up at the allocated time. Breakdown must only occur after approval by event organizers.
  • Vendor fees are non-refundable once payment is confirmed.
  • Vendors who fail to comply with these terms may be removed from the venue without refund.
  • The event organizers will not be held liable for vendor losses, damages, injuries, or incidents arising from vendor operations.
